Hand poured in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, this Blue Peak candle features a 3-D topographic render of Twining "Blue" Peak in homage to Stranahan's Blue Peak Single Malt Whiskey! This candle features a custom cedarwood & whiskey scent while showcasing one of Colorado's famous mountain peak.
I picked this up as a gift for my brother who loves hiking around Steamboat, and the raised 3-D terrain on the front got an instant reaction from him. It burns evenly too, no tunneling so far. The topo detail is the whole reason to buy it.
The 3-D topographic render of Blue Peak is way more detailed than I expected for a hand-poured candle. It's sitting on my bar cart and the ridges actually cast little shadows when it's lit.
The topographic detail on this thing is actually really well done, you can feel the ridges of the peak when you run your finger over it. It's been sitting on my desk for two weeks and still smells great even unlit. Hand poured in Colorado is a nice touch too.
