The brass has a nice heft to it that makes stamping feel deliberate rather than gimmicky. I've been using it on big clear cubes for whiskey nights and the S comes out crisp every time, even after a few rounds.
Pressing this into a cube right out of the freezer leaves a clean S that holds its shape for a good ten minutes before it starts to soften. Cast brass means it stays cold enough to do the job without me fighting it.
